In the early 2000s the association took legal action against the management of the site - then Haven - as they felt they were being denied certain rights such as the right to sell their caravan to anyone they wanted instead of Haven. They lost this action and it depleted funds and disheartened members. Many left the site.

A meeting in September 2005 decided to refresh the association but unfortunately the then president died over the winter and most of the remaining committeee members decided to leave Charmettes for various reasons. Consequently nothing was done.

In September 2006 a new committee was elected with a brief to grow the membership to 200, to be more co-operative rather than confrontational with the management - now Siblu - and to be more social in outlook.

Despite difficulties over Winter 2007 the committee carried on but there has been little activity in 2008. Management are reluctant to work with the Owners Club and the future is uncertain. With prominent owners leaving the site and Management organising many more activities for Owners there doesn't seem to be a desire for a club at present. There was a meeting on 14 September 2008. Minutes on Documents page. Little has been done in 2009. I suspect the club will shortly cease to be and when I hear something I'll post it here. The only issue is disposal of funds which involves french law as the association has a legal status.

2011. I think that it's all over and the association no longer exists. No-one's actually told me but...
